Zoom! Accelerated Teeth Whitening
At Jirik DDS, we offer our clients two convenient treatment options: in-office, instant Zoom whitening treatments and at-home, gradual Zoom whitening treatments.
While a trip to the dentist can improve teeth discoloration to some degree, it cannot be used to combat all teeth discoloration. An in-office Zoom Treatment can easily be added to your regularly scheduled dental visit and give your smile the extra brightness it needs to shine. These in-office treatments provide clients with instantaneous, beautiful teeth-whitening results.

How Long Will My Teeth Whitening Results Last?
There isn’t any limit on how often a person can have a Zoom! Whitening treatment. There isn’t any cumulative effect of the hydrogen peroxide whitening agents. The question is when you need another whitening session at our Cabot offices.
There’s no “set” duration for how long your teeth stay bright and white. If your teeth become stained by coffee, they will become stained again.
But you don’t have to give up that glass of red wine — when you feel your teeth are becoming a little dingy again, come back in, and we’ll whiten them again. Or, if you have at-home trays, we’ll resupply your whitening gel.
Home hygiene also makes a difference. Using whitening toothpaste (ADA-approved, of course) and brushing for two minutes twice daily is important. Plus, coming in for twice-yearly professional cleanings with Dr. Jirik and our team is equally important to keep your teeth their whitest.
Will I need multiple teeth whitening sessions?
Can People With Crowns, Veneers, or Fillings Get Teeth Whitening Treatments?
Is teeth whitening a popular treatment?
Teeth whitening is a very popular treatment in the U.S. When asked what aspect of their smile they would most like to change, surveys have found that nearly 90 percent of respondents say, “whiter teeth.”
Teeth whitening, particularly with the great in-office or at-home options with Zoom!, is safe, effective, and simple. Most people equate bright, white teeth with a healthy person, so it makes sense people want to correct their stained, yellowed teeth.
Is teeth whitening painful?
Is teeth whitening safe?
It’s not a new thing for people to want bright white teeth. In fact, the first recorded practice of teeth whitening was in ancient Egypt about 4,000 years ago. Egyptians used a ground-up pumice stone mixed with white vinegar to produce a whitening paste that was applied to the teeth.
Teeth whitening is totally safe. In fact, there are not any recorded instances of irreversible or structural damage caused by teeth whitening programs. Our Zoom! Whitening agents work in the same way that detergent removes stains from clothing. The hydrogen peroxide gently penetrates the enamel, where it breaks down the stains. There can be some initial tooth sensitivity after your treatment, but that is not an indicator of tooth damage, and it passes in a couple of days at the most.
These are completely safe, effective, and satisfying treatments for our patients from all over the Cabot, Conway, and Little Rock areas.
